“Hormonal Harmony”

How many times have you heard someone say “Oh, it must be her time of the month?”, or “Oh, don’t get upset, she’s overreacting. She’s at that age, she’s probably menopausal” Infuriating, right? And possibly EVEN more infuriating if there’s some truth to the comment!

As women, many of us have spent our entire younger lives being told to just accept painful periods, problems with our cycles, endometriosis, bad skin, PCOS – you name it the list goes on. And then, as we age, it’s time to just accept hot flushes, insomnia, mood swings and brain fog. When we’re younger, the go to remedy is to go on the pill; when we’re older the first port of call…. Anti-depressants! Yes, anti-depressants – even though you’re not depressed. At least, you weren’t until you visited your doctor! If you avoid the anti-depressants, then you’ll likely be given HRT.

But what if there was another way? A way in which you stopped relying on someone else to tell you what’s best for your own body and allowed you to take back control of your own health?

Our homones are amazing – but if they’re out of whack, they can also be the root cause of absolutely horrendous symptoms – in our bodies and thus on our lives. But, it doesn’t have to be like this. We’ll be taking a deep dive into how you can proactively rebalance your endocrine system naturally and will cover fasting, detox and lifestyle changes. There is EXTENSIVE information about fasting and how to use fasting to support your hormones. Men and women DON’T fast in the same way and your fasting protocol will vary depending upon whether you have a cycle, are peri-menopausal or menopausal.

“Stabilising Sugar and Dysregulation”

For clients that have already attended the Hormonal Harmony workshop and wish to dive a little deeper into the what and the when of their food. This is NOT about dieting; it’s about learning how to eat the things you enjoy in a way that better allows your body to function optimally. How and what you eat can have a huge impact on your blood sugar levels and thus your hormones, mood and life!

We will also explore the impact being unbalanced can have on your metabolic, nervous, hormonal and emotional systems.

This workshop can be booked as a standalone workshop or in conjunction with Hormonal Harmony for a discounted price that includes lunch from our private chef, Delia The Jammy Cook.
